Glee Gum “Make Your Own Candy” Review & Giveaway (ENDED)

I love Glee Gum because their products are all-natural with no preservatives, artificial flavors or colors and NO aspartame! They are the only company to use real chicle (sap from the rainforest) in their gum base which is very eco-friendly, too!
Another reason that I LOVE Glee Gum is that they have created these fun “Make Your Own Candy” Kits, which are such a fun thing to enjoy with your kids! We tried the “Make Your Own Gummies” Kit and had a blast! It was cool to see the all-natural ingredients like sugar and seaweed turn into something DELICIOUS!

We used the microwave to make our gummies.  Check out our step-by-step photos below.  The funny-looking thing is the seaweed.  Looks interesting, tastes YUMMY!

Clorox Green Works Laundry Detergent, Stain Remover & Bag Giveaway (10/20)

When I purchase household cleaners and other products, I really like to use green, eco-friendly alternatives when I can.  I have found, though, that in the past I’ve used “natural” laundry detergents that ended up leaving my clothes looking dingy or not feeling soft.

I tried the Clorox Green Works HE Laundry Detergent recently and was pleasantly surprised.  I used the Original, which is scented, but the scent isn’t overpowering.  I noticed on their website that they also carry it in Lavender and Free & Clear (unscented).  I used it on our regular laundry for several loads and it seemed to clean well and I didn’t notice any difference from our usual detergent as far as appearance of our clothes.  I also tried the Clorox Green Works Laundry Stain Remover and it also was very similar to my usual stain remover in performance.  It got the spots that I used it on out and has a pleasant smell.

The price point is reasonable, too, which you don’t often find with “natural” or eco-friendly products.  The Green Works Natural Laundry Detergent retails for $8.79 (45 oz, 3o loads) and $15.49 (90 oz., 60 loads) and the Natural Laundry Stain Remover has a suggested retail value of $3.69.

All-in-all, I would buy these products because they are better for the environment and it seems that they would have to be better for my family, too.  I like that they are made from plant-based ingredients and the packaging is bio-degradable.  They don’t test their products on animals, either, which is very important to us as a family.
