I want one of these! I really, really want one of these! Oh…I’m talking about the Kia Forte Koup! Coffee Beanery Review & Giveaway YUM (ENDED)

In case you don’t already know this about me, I LOVE coffee! I used to be just a plain coffee girl until folks started making some really, really yummy unsweetened, flavored coffee. Coffee Beanery is one of those companies. They sent me a wonderful variety of coffees to try and it was my duty (yes folks, sipping coffee is hard work) to try the yummy flavors that they sent to me and tell you what I think.
Since it’s officially FALL now (and I LOVE FALL!), I will tell you that the Caramel Apple coffee is SUBLIME! Just. FABULOUS! First of all, it just smells so wonderful and crisp and sweet and caramel apple-y. When I took a sip, I couldn’t believe how yummy it was! It has a distinct butterscotch apple flavor that just hit the spot because I was craving a dessert. My husband, who doesn’t normally care for flavored coffees loves it as well! My teen daughter likes it with sugar and milk and she said it was like a caramel apple latte. ALL thumbs up on the Coffee Beanery Caramel Apple coffee! Our Ocean Isle Beach Trip
As you might recall, we took a trip to Ocean Isle Beach recently and stayed at Ocean Isle Inn. It was about a five hour drive from our home, which was actually a pretty easy ride and the kids stayed entertained with DVDs and music for the most part. We pulled up and Lee, the General Manager was there waiting, although we arrived much later than we expected, around midnight.
We got to our room, which had a nice-sized bathroom, a wet bar with an extra sink and a fridge and two comfy beds. I immediately opened the door to the balcony, which overlooked the beautiful beach. Even at midnight, I could see how beautiful it was there. There had been a storm through that day and it was quite windy, but luckily it had rained, so we didn’t get sand in the face!

My next blog post will be pics of when we ventured over to Sunset Beach and into North Myrtle Beach aka the circus during the weekend. We much preferred staying in Ocean Isle Beach because it’s so laid back and relaxed. There ARE touristy-types, but it’s nowhere near the mayhem that Myrtle is. Ocean Isle has a very “local” feel. There are some great restaurants and Ocean Isle Inn is located VERY close to a really nice Mini-Golf facility!
The rooms were clean, the staff was extremely friendly and my favorite is Lee! I wish I’d snapped a pic with him, and it occurred to me as we were checking out, but he wasn’t there at the time. They offer a complimentary continental breakfast and my kids were stoked because not only did they have their favorite cereals, they also had a waffle bar where you can pour and make your own Belgian waffles. Hot sandwiches, too! Very nice “extra” that you don’t always get depending on where you stay. Ocean Isle Inn is a class act!
One highlight of my weekend is that Momspective/Julie was staying there, too, and we got to have a couple of drinks by the pool and chat about life and blogging and her WiiMommies stuff and she’s a riot! Very cute, too!
Oh, and here are some pics of my kids in the wonderful outdoor pool at Ocean Isle Inn. They have one indoors along with a hot tub, but my kids preferred to stay outside.
