Choose Your Own Adventure books were all the rage when I was a kid, so I am excited to see them back and my kids enjoying them! These books are fun because you read the story and at different points in the story, you can choose to take the story in one direction or another. Not only are they printing the classics, but they have created some new series for both the younger and older set. The classic Choose Your Own Adventure books are geared toward the 7-14 age group while the new Dragonlarks series is geared toward ages 5-8. CYOA has also added the first two books in their first interactive trilogy, The Golden Path. The tween/teen girl set will have a lot of fun with Fabulous Terrible, their offering for girls 12 and up.
Choose Your Own Adventure is available in print and on Kindle from their Kindle Store. You can download the Choose Your Own Adventure/Return to Atlantis iPhone App for just 99 cents and you can download The Abominable Snowman, read by the series author and founder, R.A. Montgomery to your iPod.
My son is LOVING the free Choose Your Own Adventure Online Games, based on books from the original series.

Honestly, I was not the biggest fan of choose your own adventure books as a kid, but my hubby loved them. He really thinks that our son will enjoy them too. Thanks!
