Nick Jr. Ni Hao Kai Lan Great Trip to China DVD Giveaway (ENDED)
Ni Hao Kai-Lan is a cute Nick Jr. show geared toward the pre-school set that reminds me a bit of Dora the Explorer in that she’s always exploring or on an adventure and throughout the show, children are exposed to the Mandarin language and Chinese culture. Kai-Lan is almost 6 years old and goes on adventures with her grandfather (Ye Ye), a tiger named Rintoo, a koala named Tolee, a monkey named Hoho, and a pink rhino named Lulu. Ni Hao is Chinese for hello!
Ye Ye shares the Chinese culture with Kai-Lan and with viewers while Kai-Lan and her friends solve problems and learn new things.
In the “Ni Hao Kai-Lan: Great Trip to China” DVD, there’s a double-length episode in which Kai-Lan and her friends travel to China to visit her aunt and a baby panda. They learn a lot about China and see some really cool things! There is are also two other episodes AND a “Kai-Lan Goes to China” interactive game on the DVD! I love the positive and upbeat tone of this show! My 6 year old son loves it, too!

I would like to win this for my kids, especially my 6 year old daughter Andrea. This is her favorite show. She would have fun watching this in the van on long road trips. She loves Kai Lan and calls her her sister, because we have been trying to raise the funds to adopt a Chinese baby girl. I dream of a great trip to China to get my baby one day.
