Karito Kids World Collection Dolls Giveaway (ENDED)

Karito Kids is a company that makes beautiful dolls. The great thing about Karito Kids is that they are about more than dolls, though. Karito Kids is also about education and charity!
Lisa Steen-Proctor, co-Founder of Karito Kids says this about their company: Karito Kids is a socially responsible company which enables kids to learn about other countries and cultures and at the same time empowers them to help others less fortunate. 3% of the retail price (not profits/proceeds) of products are donated to one of four projects under the causes of food, home, school or health. The wonderful thing is kids receive a code, log onto karitokids.com and then direct their donation from the purchase to one of these four causes. Our products are ethnically accurate play dolls with wonderful chapter books about the character in one of six countries: USA, China, Mexico, Italy, Kenya, Australia.
Karito Kids has been featured on Oprah’s O List and won Family Fun Magazine’s #1 Toy of the Year in 2007! They have also won the 2008 Doll of the Year Industry’s Choice Award, Creative Child Seal of Excellence Choice Award, FIVE NAPPA Gold Awards in 2007, Teachers’ Choice For the Family Award, and FIVE 2007 iParentingMedia Outstanding Products Awards, just to name a FEW of their recognitions!
Karito Kids wants to spread the message that kids around the world are basically the same, even with our cultural and social differences. You can choose from Gia from Italy, Ling from China, Lulu from Kenya, Piper from Australia, Pita from Mexico or Zoe from the USA. These 21” poseable dolls are hand-strung and constructed from vinyl with no phthalates added. If your child likes to cuddle, 2/3 of the torso is soft 100% cotton and polyester fill. The hair is wigged and can be washed and styled.

We received Zoe from the USA. Zoe is an 11-year old aspiring songwriter and musician who loves making up silly words, sillier songs and exploring the vintage shops of her native Manhattan for the hippest retro clothes. Zoe comes with her own passport and a 128-page, hardbound fiction book that includes excerpts from her journal describing her beloved New York City!
This doll is incredible! I cannot believe how realistic her features are, down to her delicate-looking eyelashes and cute little freckles across her nose and cheeks. Her hair feels very silky and so far, she has withstood the attention of my 6-year-old son.
In addition to the original dolls, Karito Kids also offers 16″ soft Travel Charmers versions of their dolls, which come with a souvenir charm that will fit their Travel Charmers Bracelets. Karito Kids offers a cute child’s Heart Tee as well as a full line of doll clothing that is definitely mother-approved! If your child likes to read, each doll comes with a different Karito Kids Adventure Book, but you’ll want to collect them all because they really are fabulous!

If you are looking to start a doll collection with your child, Karito Kids is really the best! I love that they are comparable to other popular brands, but that they are more socially aware/responsible AND they give back while encouraging your child to do the same. You really cannot beat that!!
Karito Kids 21″ dolls retail for $99.99 and include a passport, full outfit and Adventure Book, as well as a code to access to fun games and ways to give to the charity of their choice.

Gia is so cute, she has the coloring’s most like my daughter, but I think I would like all of them!
I love that girls across the world can come together and activate their dolls online and unite to help others learn about different cultures and reach out to each other from nation to nation- what love! What a blessing! I first learned of these dolls last Christmas at my church!

I would love Lulu. We’ve been studying Nairobi, Kenya and the thousands of people who live in the slums there. I know Miriam would treasure this doll.
We’d love to win the Wan Ling doll. My girls get so excited by dolls who look like them. It’s easier to find Asian dolls than it used to be, but it’s still always exciting, especially for my 4 year old.
I really like how they are from different countries and have a different look without being stereotypes.

I absolutely love the idea from KidsGive LLC to open up the world to kids through the eyes of wonderful dolls and charity. What better way to reach our kids then through an everyday toy. Not only do you get a gorgeous doll but you get their culture through their clothing, a passport, hardcover book and so much more. These dolls are beautiful and very unique. I would like to enter my name for the give away. It would be pleasure for my DD to learn all about Italy from Gia. She is so stylish, as only a fashion diva should be. Thank you for offering this give way. Ciao!

If I had to choose I think Gia would be my favorite, but they are all adorable. I love how different each and every one of them is. I just think Gia is beautiful, but I also LOVE Lulu’s hair.
