Bumblz Animated DVDs and Music for Kids (ENDED)

It seems like there are so many animated series and movies out there for children and frankly, most of them I would rather my kids didn’t waste their time watching because sometimes the characters are rude or don’t speak in complete sentences.  Often times, there isn’t even a meaningful story line or anything of substance to hold the child’s interest.

The characters in the Bumblz series are a bee named Bumblz, a caterpillar, a spider, an ant,  a butterfly and a cricket.  They embark on various adventures like building a clubhouse in Clubhouse Friends and searching for treasure using a map in The Pirate’s Treasure.  The recurring theme in these features is that they meet obstacles along the way and work together to find solutions.  I like the problem-solving aspect of the Bumblz series.

Bumblz DVDs are geared toward children ages 0-6.  My six-year-old actually likes both the DVDs and the music on Bumblz Tunes – The Bee Sides and Bumblz Tunes – Songs in the Key of Bee quite a bit.   The music is upbeat and the track “Loving Mother” from the Pirate’s Treasure DVD and The Bee Sides CD is my favorite!
